Tampa Museum of Art Engagement
Summer and Jamaul met me out at Tampa Riverside Park, specifically at the Tampa Museum of Art for their downtown engagement. Looking forward to the downtown vibe of their session, we ventured around the museum and of course around the downtown area.
15 years ago, yes 15 years ago!, the two officially first met at Quiznos Subs when both were working their first job as teenagers. Of course being teenagers, they would only chat briefly and never really connected further than colleagues. Seeing each other a couple of times throughout the year after moving on to new jobs, they finally reconnected at a Starbucks in the Summer of 2017. While they may not have been high school sweethearts, fate ensured that they would be brought together once adults and one year later they were engaged!
Falling in love with how completely comfortable they are with each other, Summer explained that they “both love how we can let our hair down and be ourselves.” I feel like this southern saying is such perfection in describing that love you feel when someone accepts you truly as you are.
Engaged on October 13th of 2018, Jamaul planned a fun weekend adventure filled with rope and zipline courses, and afterwards a nice dinner at Columbia in Sarasota. Before the night ended, Jamaul wanted to ensure he locked in his forever and proposed to Summer. She of course said yes!
Looking forward to our team capturing these two tie the knot this coming February at the Tampa Firefighter Museum!
